Exchanges & Returns

These terms and conditions apply to all online purchases made online at The Comfort Club (www.thecomfortclub.co.nz)


Returns

If you are unhappy with your order, all full priced items can be returned or exchanged provided that they are in a new and saleable condition. All items must be returned within 14 days of dispatch. All items returned must be; unused, unaltered, unwashed and with all original tags attached and packaging included. Please ensure all items are fluff and hair free. The Comfort Club ltd reserves the right to refuse a return or refund if these requirements are not met, except as required by Consumer Guarantee Act 1993.

All full priced items returned will be eligible for a full refund of the purchase cost (all postage costs are non-refundable) or exchanged. Please allow 3-5 business days for us to process your return. Once complete, we will email you with details.

We do not offer returns or refunds on the following products; Home-lee Handbags, Wallets, Hats, Keyrings, Earrings, Lip Glosses, Hotel Slippers, Cosmetic Bags or Eye Masks.

The cost incurred for the return shipping of the item(s) to The Comfort Club is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect. Please email customercare@thecomfortclub.co.nz with the nature of the fault and include all details and photographs of the fault.

Exchange

We are happy to offer an exchange on all full priced items within 14 days of dispatch. If you would like to exchange your purchase please return the item and details on the return card included in your order. As part of our online system we are unable to exchange item(s) for those that are higher price point, so we will require you to place a new order and we will refund the original (excluding postage costs). Please note that we will only allow one exchange per order number, if you require an exchange on your exchange we will refund you. 

We do not hold any payment information on file so we are unable to charge an additional payment. In the instance where the item(s) you want to exchange are of a lower price point than the original order we will refund the difference.

All exchanges are based on availability at the time we receive your return.

Gift with purchase

Please find below a few terms and conditions for our gift with purchase. This includes an additional items that have been included in your order ie. The Goodnight Society slippers or cosmetic bags

You can return any items in your order for exchange as per our returns policy, however if you choose to return your items for a refund you must return the gift with purchase

If you choose not to return the gift with purchase we will deduct the value of the gift from your order value


Gift Wrapping 

You can now select to have your item Gift Wrapped at checkout for an additional $5 per order. Gift wrapping is available with full priced items over $50.

All orders Gift Wrapped will be shipped by PBT Couriers and tracking will be sent via email. If you have any tracking or gift wrapping enquiries please send an email to customercare@thecomfortclub.co.nz

Please note that Gift Wrapping is non refundable and if you wish to return your item(s) for refund/ exchange you do not need to return the gift box. 

Cancel + Changes to Order

In order to process your order as soon as possible we are unable to cancel or make any changes to your order once it is confirmed. Please make sure your order is correct. 

In the event of your order being cancelled we will deduct the handling cost of 5% from your order value. 

Faulty Items

In the unlikely event of you receiving a faulty item please contact us at customercare@thecomfortclub.co.nz with the nature of the fault and we will be in touch as soon as possible. Please include all details including order number, name and photographs.

If you have a fault that is caused by wear and tear please email customercare@thecomfortclub.co.nz. You must provide proof of purchase. All faulty returns must be purchased online at www.thecomfortclub.co.nz within the last 30 days.


Sale Items and Bundle 

All sale purchases are deemed final and will not be accepted for return or exchange. All discounts cannot be applied retroactively. 

International Orders

You are welcome to return your full priced item(s) for a refund on the purchasing price (excluding postage). We are unable to provide an exchange or replacements on International orders.

We are sorry but we are unable to ship to the United Kingdom due to Brexit Tax Laws

The Comfort Club team will dispatch your order as soon as possible. An email confirmation will be sent once your item has been shipped, this will include a trackable link.

DISPATCH

North Island Deliveries please allow 1-3 working days
South Island Deliveries please allow 3-4 working days
Australian / international parcels will arrive within 12 working days, if you have any issues or concerns please email customercare@thecomfortclub.co.nz. Please note worldwide delays can be caused due to Covid factors.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOM CHARGES

Orders shipped overseas may be subjected to international custom and import fees (ie. VAT, duties and clearing fees). The Comfort Club takes no responsibility in payment of these charges. Please check with your local governmental office for further information relating charges in your location. Custom clearance procedures can cause unforeseen delays to original delivery time frames.

Failure to collect your parcel due to not wanting to pay these fees or the parcel being returned to us due to incorrect address information or non collection from Depot will result in a return of your original order amount less $60NZD to cover the costs for processing + inbound and outbound freight costs. 

If you refuse your parcel at customs due to the fees your order will be destroyed by customs and you will not be refunded by The Comfort Club.
