How do I wear Apartment Pants?
Our Apartment pants are the perfect casual and comfortable pant for travelling, running errands and hanging out. They are designed to be worn hanging loosely around your hips and backside, with a drop crutch between the legs. Some people do like to size down and we love it when our customers make the clothes their own. Just bear in mind that these pants aren't stitched using "activewear" techniques, so the seams may give way and pop in pressure spots if you've chosen a snug fit. A tighter fit may also cause the printed designs to rub off in places. We recommend staying true to your size for optimal wear, we don't recommend sizing down.
What is the general fit of your clothing?
Our general style is true to size for a comfortable fit. Please see individual designs for more information on our website.
How do you send your items?
Items are sent with Courier Post within 3 working days of you placing your order. If you live rurally items will be handed to NZ Post for delivery which will take a little longer.
International orders are sent tracked with DHL Courier.
Why do I get charged Rural postage and everyone else gets free postage?
Courier Post hand over all rural parcels to NZ Post, so effectively we pay twice to have rural items delivered by two different companies - which is why we charge a small $5 fee.
We cover the cost of non-rural shipping within NZ, and we cover half the cost of rural shipping (which is twice the amount of non-rural to send)
If you choose non-rural shipping, but provide a rural address, we will hold your order for the $5 shipping fee, or seek an alternative non-rural delivery address.
What are your International Shipping terms?
Home-lee ships internationally with DHL tracked courier.
**Please note that all customs duties, taxes and charges are the responsibility of the purchaser.**
Please check out your countries Custom/Duty/Tax fees before ordering - Home-lee does not cover these, and does not offer refunds on orders if you decide you will not pay them.
Do you have a physical Home-lee shop?
If you receive a faulty item straight out of the bag, please keeps tags attached and contact us within 14 days.
If you have a fault that is caused by wear and tear please email firstname.lastname@example.org for a returns form. You must provide a receipt for your proof of purchase. Items bought more than 30 days ago can not be returned.
We cannot consider returns that do not have a dated receipt from an approved seller (items bought through trademe or on-sold do not count)
Where are your items made?
All our items are designed in Nelson, New Zealand and manufactured for us in China. We have a small, family owned and run factory that manufactures exclusively for Home-lee. We visit with our factory and the workers/owners there every year.
Do you support any charities?
Yes, we are really pleased to be able to partner with local community groups to support a variety of causes. We are currently working with the SHINE programme in Intermediates and High Schools., which aims to equip girls with an understanding of their own personal worth, value, strength, potential and purpose. A note from us:
Safety and the health of our team, and their families, is the most important thing to us always, but especially at the moment - and you are all part of our team!!
So we have closed our business, until further notice. This means that while our online store is open, our warehouse is closed. We are not an essential service, so we are suspending our shipping until we are told otherwise. We know that things can change quickly, so will keep you updated with any new information.
We are taking this time to focus on our families, be creative, and come back refreshed and ready to give 2020 another shot!
